Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Charise Carter and I put this page together to share with you who I am, what I do, where I've been, and where I'm going so you can get to know me on a more personal level and see how I might be able to assist you. I'm a wife, mother of 3 beautiful children, freedom coach & visionary leader, author, investor and attraction marketer.
I've developed multiple streams of income and have
been working from home full-time since 1998 after my very brief
3-year tour of duty in corporate america :o). But let me jump back a
little bit...
I got
my degree in computer science from the University of Illinois in
Urbana-Champaign back in 1995. Go Fighting Illini!
I went into engineering because my dad who was an electrical engineer steered me in that direction and of course I wanted to make daddy proud J. I'd always gotten good grades in school so when it came time to go off to college I was able to go on a full scholarship.
After graduation I began working in corporate america and I hated it. I'd worked at this same company during my summer vacations so I'd already began to get the feeling that this was not something I wanted to do 'til I was 65. I longed for FREEDOM and couldn't phathom the idea of living my life confined and restricted to a 9-5 so what did I do...
... I left and never looked back. I know daddy wasn't happy when I left that good, paying job behind but I had to do what was best for Charise and I’m forever grateful that he taught me how to be an independent thinker because that’s what sparked me to ask different questions and seek the answers for myself. Thanks Da J. Hey, at least he wasn't out any money. lol
Success always leaves
clues... 
One of my mentors early on said, "If you want to be successful, study the successful man or woman." So that's exactly what I did. I became a student of success and eventually had the priviledge of co-authoring a book with some of my favorite authors including Mark Victor Hansen, Deepak Chopra, and Wayne Dyer entitled, "Wake Up... Live The Life You Love: Finding Personal Freedom." It's filled with inspiring stories to get people to "wake up" and begin living a life they love rather than sleepwalk through life unfulfilled and unhappy.
I continuously read mind-expanding books and audios to study successful people because success always leaves clues J.
The first two books I ever read which opened up a whole new world for me were "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill and "As A Man Thinketh" by James Allen. If you haven't read either of these two books, pick up a copy at the bookstore or search online for them. They're certainly worth reading.
These two books started me on a path which ultimately brought me back to my Self. This was when I came to learn about the Law of Attraction and how powerful and unlimited we truly are. I've been teaching about it and sharing it with people ever since. It's both a spiritual and scientific law that states that what we focus on we attract. You can find evidence of it in the Bible ("As a man thinketh in his heart and mind, so is he."), Quantum Physics, and books by some of the greatest thinkers throughout history. Basically what you think about, you bring about. What you focus on expands.
Even though I didn't realize it at the time my FIRST teacher on this subject was definitely my mom. I can remember at a very young age of 4 or 5 when I had my "little kid problems" her saying things to me like, "Charise, always see it how you want it to be." And... "Stay in your own custom-built imagination."
Now, I didn't know what the heck she was talking about back then but mommy planted good seeds and things began to click as I got older and wiser J.

I've personally been using this "secret" myself since I discovered it years ago and the more I consciously use it, the more in awe I am at how my life unfolds.
Sometimes all it takes is a 1 degree shift in your thinking, attitude and actions to make all the difference in your life. That's what separates the good from the great. Here's a great short 3 minute video that'll show you what I mean.
How do you make money Charise?
Well, I've learned a lot over the years since venturing into this crazy online world. Being an entrepreneur has been one of the most liberating choices I've ever made even with all of the early "failures". One of the most important things I've learned in studying wealthy, successful people is that they use leverage. They leverage their money. They leverage their time. They leverage systems. And they leverage other people's money, time and knowledge.
So rather than work for linear income trading time for dollars, I use leverage to maximize my results whether that's through building a passive, residual income through network marketing or direct sales systems, or multiplying my money in different investments or using other people's expertise and knowledge to create more wealth.
In my book, Cashflow Is Queen!
Robert Kiyosaki who's one of my favorite authors talks about building assets that produce cashflow in his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad." I really, really, really value my freedom. It's a strong, core desire for me so I focus on building assets that will take good care of Charise so I don't "have to" work; assets that produce income whether I'm working, playing, or sleeping.
Now, don't get me wrong. I work at building my business but it's simple, enjoyable work AND I get to call the shots :). Plus, remember this is leveraged income so I receive more and more cashflow while doing less and less "work." That's the beauty of leverage.
Now guess what I do with that leveraged cashflow?
Yes, I invest it! I put money to work for me so that it multiplies and continues to grow independent of me just like my business does. The awesome part is I'm able to leverage other people's money and grow my investments at an "unusual" rate.
These are really simple concepts when you really think about it. Just a different method of operation and you do get to choose how you operate.
Do you want to work hard for money working for linear income always trading time for dollars?
OR...
Do you want to expand your capacity for wealth, generate large amounts of cashflow and put money to work for you so you can enjoy life?
I choose the later that's for sure! lol
The unfortunate thing I see is that most don't even realize they have a choice. In traditional schools we're taught how to be an employee or how to be self-employed which both limit you financially because it's only you making the money. Even if you're a doctor or lawyer, if something happens to you where you can not work, what happens to your income? Not a good position to be in.
Whether you're someone who's actively marketing your business or you're just thinking about starting an online business, one of THE best ways to ensure your longevity is to build your own list of contacts. However, it's important that you build your REAL business and that's what I like to call YOU, Inc. This supports you long-term because you're branding yourself.
When you've developed a database or contact list and cultivated a relationship with the people on that list, you've got a real asset. This is one of the most important activities you can devote your time to online because everything else will then fall into place effortlessly. Otherwise, if you stop marketing or you don't have a leveraged system in place producing cashflow, guess what...
... your cashflow stops. No cashflow. No business. When you have your own cultivated contact list where the people have grown to know you, like you and trust you, you can continue to generate income because you've built up equity in your business.
Family: Being a Wife and Mother
Because of the way I set things in motion I have the
freedom to live my life without having to answer to anyone but myself. I get to
enjoy my family and my time freely. My husband Darrell and I got married
in
1998. It's funny that we
actually went to high school together, same graduating class and everything, yet
didn't get together as a couple until 4 years after high school. I
was quiet and to myself while he was wild and crazy. He's 6'3'' and I'm
5'2'' so we are quite a sight together :o)
My honey has his own security company that handles security for special events and executive protection for dignataries and celebrities. He's worked with Winnie Mandela, Laila Ali, commedians Bernie Mac and Steve Harvey, and R & B singers Tank, R Kelly, and Stephanie Mills to name a few.
He likes to keep a low profile and be the "behind the scenes" person so he usually stays away from the spotlight and camera but I encouraged him to get some photos on a few of his last trips.
We've made three beautiful children together. My sweetie pies mean the world to me. Najilah's our oldest, Jair (our son) is in the middle and then there's Zaniah, the baby of the trio.
Being a
mother really gives me a tremendous amount of
inspiration to be the best that I can be so that I can pour what I
learn into them.
Children model their parents. My daughter Najilah
models what she sees mommy doing and my son models his dad. It's adorable when I
catch her pretending to run her own business with her laptop and
she's always got lots of her play money all around her. I just smile because I
know one day she won't be pretending. 
Of course, my son's got to be like his big, strong daddy so he models my husband and has taken an interest in Jujitsu. He's got to be the cutest little ninja I've ever seen. Ok, so maybe I'm biased so have a look for yourself J.

One thing momma knows for sure and
that's that I'm laying a foundation for them and 
planting seeds of abundance and prosperity in
them very early. They'll never "have to" work for money. Since I'm
flipping the script, they will know that businesses and money are to work for
them so whatever they choose to do in life it will be because it's a desire
of their hearts and not out of necessity.
While I may be the one teaching them about business and assets and how "thoughts become things," they certainly teach me my greatest lessons with ease like being carefree, living in the present, remembering to laugh and loving unconditionally.
There's nothing like family and I've been blessed with a wonderful family. So if anyone ever wants to know my "WHY" for stepping out there and making things happen in my life, you're looking at 'em J.
How I build my businesses
I'm in the people business. I realized quite some time ago that I'm really a teacher at heart. It's very much in alignment with who I am as a person. I love seeing people succeed which is why I'm very attracted to personal development and empowering people mentally, spiritually, and financially.
Because my time is very precious to me
(especially with 3 kids) I use what I call attraction
marketing while leveraging myself through technology and systems
to automate a large portion of my business. It may sound complex but it simply
means that I have systems in place that bring people to me.
I'm like the "lighthouse". I make it easy for people to find me and this frees me up allowing me to really focus on the important, fun part which is connecting with and building relationships with people.
I even outsource some of my marketing because it's just smart business to leverage the brains and resources of those who are already good at it. Remember...
